1. Gala Games Suffers Exploit
On May 21, an Ethereum deployed dApp Gala Games@GoGalaGames suffered an exploit.
The attacker is 0xEC78b484a28a73F4f1cff23B9cD31aA12c1D9b4e on Ethereum.
Crypto assets worth around US $213 million were exploited in this incident.
2. YON Token Suffers Exploit
On May 22, a BNB Chain deployed token YON suffered an exploit.
The YON token is deployed at 0x152909b29483b0FA64Cf6A76C31b09c2E6956d33 on the BNB Chain.
The root cause is that the token didn’t have sufficient access control.
The attacker is 0xbc9271380b4589e08af015069eee7bb57869cf06 on the BNB Chain.
Crypto assets worth around US $118,000 were exploited in this incident.
3. Nomie Base Suffers Exploit
On May 26, a Base deployed dApp NormieBase@NormieBase suffered an exploit.
The root case is that its contracts had a logic flaw.
The attacker is 0xf7f3a556ac21d081f6dba961b6a84e52e37a717d on BASE.
Crypto assets worth around US $494,000 were exploited in this incident.
CONCLUSION-
3 notable security incidents have occurred in the past week. All were attacks on smart contracts.
It is worth noting that the attack on Gala caused a loss of US $213 million.
