1. Social Media Accounts Compromised
From September 25 to October 1, the following social media accounts were compromised and phishing links might be sent in these accounts:
Discord servers of Lucky Factory@LuckyFactoryNFT, Mode@ModeNetwork, SpaceChain@SpaceChain, Venom Bears@VenomBears and Entangle Protocol@Entanglefi
2. HTX Global Suffers Exploit
On September 26, HTX Global, an established CEX suffered an exploit.
Basically, the exchange’s wallet keys were compromised.
4999 ETHs worth around US $7.8 million were exploited in this incident.
CONCLUSION-
6 notable security incidents have occurred in the past week. 5 were attacks on social medial accounts, 1 was an attack on a CEX.
It is worth noting that the attack on HTX Global caused a loss of crypto assets worth US $7.8 million.
