1. Telcoin Suffers Exploit
On December 26, a Polygon deployed dApp Telcoin suffered an exploit.
The attacker attacked the project’s wallet.
The attacker’s address is 0xDB4B84F0E601e40a02B54497F26E03EF33f3A5b7 on Polygon
Crypto assets worth around US $1.2 million were exploited in this incident.
2. Channels Finance Suffers Exploit
On December 30, a BNB chain deployed dApp Channels Finance suffered an exploit.
The attacker's Address is 0x20395d8e8a11cfd2541b942afdb810b7dcc64681 on the BNB chain.
Crypto assets worth around US $320K were exploited in this incident.
3. Compound’s X Account Compromised
On December 30, Compound’s X account was compromised.
Phishing links were sent in the X account.
4. OK’s Ordinals Marketplace Suffers Exploit
On December 30, OK’s ordinal marketplace listed fake BRC-20 coins.
The attacker’s address is bc1qa62muh2rtvxfkapkvqwn52rccdm7caxj6pqy2f on Bitcoin.
CONCLUSION-
4 notable security incidents have occurred in the past week. 3 were attacks on smart contracts, wallets or protocols, and 1 was an attack on social media.
