1. WMRP Suffers Exploit
On July 3, a BNB chain deployed token WMRP suffered an exploit.
The token is deployed at 0x35F5cEf517317694DF8c50C894080caA8c92AF7D on the BNB chain.
The attackers are:
0x6605b4A4507BbA0E9FD26c3bCD88E7FFB76f914a and
0x132D9bbDBE718365aF6Cc9e43bac109A9A53B138 on the BNB chain.
Crypto assets worth around US $60,000 were exploited in this incident.
2. DefiPlaza Suffers Exploit
On July 6, an Ethereum deployed dApp DefiPlaza@DefiPlaza suffered an exploit.
The dApp was front-run by 0xFDe0d1575Ed8E06FBf36256bcdfA1F359281455A on Ethereum.
Crypto assets worth around US $200,000 were exploited in this incident.
CONCLUSION-
2 notable security incidents have occurred in the past week. Both were attacks on smart contracts.
