On May 14, an Arbitrum deployed dApp Predy Finance@predyfinance suffered an exploit.
The attacker is 0x76b02ab483482740248e2ab38b5a879a31c6d008 on Arbitrum.
Crypto assets worth US $464,000 were exploited in this incident.
2. Sonne Finance Suffers Exploit
On May 15, an Optimism deployed dApp Sonne Finance@SonneFinance suffered an exploit.
The dApp suffered a serial attack.
The attacker is 0xae4A7cDe7C99fb98B0D5fA414aa40F0300531F43 on Optimism.
Crypto assets worth around US $20 million were exploited in this incident.
3. Pump.fun Suffers Exploit
On May 17, a Solana deployed dApp pump.fun@pumpdotfun suffered an exploit.
The root cause is that the dApp’s private key was compromised.
The attacker is 7ihN8QaTfNoDTRTQGULCzbUT3PHwPDTu5Brcu4iT2paP on Solana.
Crypto assets worth around US $1.9 million were exploited in this incident.
CONCLUSION-
3 notable security incidents have occurred in the past week. all were attacks on smart contracts.
It is worth noting that the attack on Sonne Finance caused a loss of US $20 million.
